Domestic Long Hair (long coat) Cat

Rum Tum the Cat needs a home

DOB: January 2015

Meet Rumtum:

Rumtum was brought to the NTCR when he was found outside in a back yard resting on a lawn chair in Toronto. He had a terrible eye infection and was cold and wet and hungry. They knew they had to get him indoors out of our harsh winter, and could not keep him themselves but they cared for him until he came to the NTCR.

remarkably handsome tabby with long fur, and knowledgeable green eyes with a sweet, gentle, shy personality. He has a stub for a tail, we are not sure how he lost his tail, but we do know living outside on the streets can be very hard and it can bring many scars and battle marks.

Rumtum obviously had some positive human interaction during his time out on the streets. When he first arrived at the shelter he was scared but quickly learned he was safe and easily learned to trust the volunteers.

Rumtum is adapting nicely to being an indoor cat, he gets along well with other cats, cuddling up or stretching out in a soft comfortable warm bed, learning what toys are and how to play. He happily accepts human touch and laps. Rumtum will be the cat that jumps up on the couch close beside or in your lap, he will make the purfect companion for a slow paced quiet household.

If you what to show Rumtum what it is like to have unconditional love and a furever home & family, please fill out an adoption application an contact us.
